About Me
Education
As a Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), I conduct research on the transportation energy transition.

I earned my Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from UC Davis, where I was a researcher for the UC Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS) and the Davis Energy Economics Program (DEEP).
My research has focused on the effectiveness of policies seeking to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation sector and their effects on fuel markets. I took particular interest in federal and state transportation policies such as the U.S. Renewable Fuel Standard and California's Low Carbon Fuel Standard. However, my attention has recently focused toward the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022.
In the summer of 2021, I completed a summer research internship with Resources for the Future, where I studied and wrote about the transition to a cleaner energy economy.
