Daniel J. Mazzone

I'm an experienced economist interested in environmental economics, climate policy, energy markets, and transportation. I hold a PhD in Agriculture & Resource Economics from UC Davis and a MA in Economics from San Diego State University.

I am currently a Researcher at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (formerly NREL) and a Lecturer in the Economics Department at SDSU.
My research examines the effectiveness of government policies aiming to reduce transportation sector greenhouse gas emissions and explores how such policies impact energy markets.
On my free time, I enjoy golf, pickleball, hiking, surfing, snowboarding, exploring San Diego, and eating good food.
